MEET THE PLUMMER GIRLS: ERICA, ANNE, & MIRA
Hey Darlings! We are the Plummer girls and are on a quest to live our best lives. And sometimes we eat pudding.
ERICA
Our mom, Erica, is a high school English teacher and an empty nester. She is the queen sandwich maker, a devourer of books, a mountain biker, and a Southern Utah junkie.
What Anne & Mira think you should know about
OUR MOM Erica:
- If you lose her, follow the sound of her laugh and you will be reunited in no time!
- Early 2000’s R&B is her JAM! Think “Take A Bow” by Rihanna and the old Kanye.
- She cries when she talks about the Grand Canyon because, yes, it’s just that beautiful.
- She was the young mom that danced in the rain and skipped through flooding gutters when it was pouring outside.
Erica spends her free time in Utah’s red rock country where every summer she parks a “van down by the river” and lives a life away from paved roads, temperature control, or societal expectations. She mountain bikes, hikes, cooks over a campfire, and swims in the river. When she misses home too much, she heads home where she lives with her husband. Each spring, a pair of ducks return to their house. Erica has a spoiled poodle who likes to eat string cheese and insists the cheese is “strung” for her.
ANNE
Anne works as a design consultant at a training company, has been an American Ambassador to Germany, is a dog-mom, and a new convert to the curly girl method.
ABOUT ANNE:
- Anne is saving the world one dog at a time. (But literally, she will stop her whole life to make sure a doggy is okay)
- Her earrings brighten a whole room!
- She single handedly keeps Chick-fil-A in business.
- If you are in a rough patch, she will have your back.
- Anne keeps tap on all the local artisans.
- She’s the oldest of four and it shows! She always looks out for others, but can take charge when needed.
From paper crepe flowers and origami cranes to polymer clay and watercolors, Anne is drawn to all things creative. Anne has been an avid writer since she was given her first pink journal at four years old and hasn’t stopped since. She got her first camera when she was fourteen and spent nearly a decade photographing the beautiful people around her, documenting most of her young life. Anne’s ideal future is helping fellow women feel confident and lovely in their own skin and pave a way for them to achieve their dreams.
MIRA
Mira is a college freshman and a vintage aficionado, record collector, a film addict, a lover of late nights, and has too many clothes for one person (or closet).
WHAT ERICA & ANNE THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW
ABOUT MIRA:
- Mira is always game to go on an adventure.
- Mira makes the best Ramen in the world.
- Sometimes Mira ditches us for roller skates.
- Her wardrobe looks like the set of La La Land.
- Mira has had the movie Legally Blonde memorized since she was two years old.
Mira has spent a majority of her life behind a camera, highlighting other people, but she has also spent some time in the spotlight. In high school, she was the lead singer and songwriter of a rad local girl band. She is highly motivated by FUN. For her, fun comes from travel, picnics, hikes, singing, bike rides, roller skates, pictures and videos, fashion… All beauty is fun for our baby sister Mira! When she was little, she said, “I want to be a teacher, well, if my singing career doesn’t work out.” You would think she has more confidence in her pinky finger than most do in their whole body, but she struggles with imposter’s syndrome and self-image! She’d tell you she’s faking it till she makes it, but we think she’s already made it! Watch her grow to love herself and her art as much as we do!
If you are like us, you have a lot of shiz to do, and sometimes you feel like you set aside your creativity, your peace, and your joy just so you can “keep on keepin’ on.” We suck at work-life balance, but are here to try!
Join our space for living a creative and joy-filled life (and watch us fumble a bit!)
We are here to stay lively, loving, creative and inspired while still balancing work, school, motherhood and all that other busy-body-hustle-stuff we have to do.
If you need help finding a great book or movie, planning a trip, making a sandwich, throwing a party, finding a great playlist, decorating a college dorm, and most especially mustering the courage to be the artistic genius that you are, you have come to the right place.
OUR HOUSE IS A HOUSE OF LOVE. WELCOME!
LOVE,
ERICA, ANNE, AND MIRA
